Introducing a pure Syrah that is both richly aromatic ans elegant.

This red grape variety, typical of the Northern Rhône area, flourishes particularly well on our highest sun-drenched ans most ventilated clayey southern terroirs.

This single variety offers a perfectly concentrates cuvée with a bland of red fruits (such as wild blackberry and blackcurrant), perfect pairing for saucy red meats.

Terroir

The vines are planted on a clay soil which is quite heavy and will give powerful, colourful and tannic wines.

Vendange

The grapes are harvested mechanically, which allows them to be picked at an excellent maturity.

Vinification

The grapes are completely destemmed. The vatting period lasts about 60 days, which gives a nice roundness, powerful aromas and a nice colour.

Élevage

Aged in concrete vats with regular racking to clarify the wine, which will allow very little filtering.

Robe

Dark and very deep colour. Purple hues.

Nez

Black fruit and blackcurrant aromas, violet note, slight graphite note. The nose is dense, expressive and intense.

Bouche

Full-bodied, with tight and silky tannins, good density and persistence. Aromas of blackberries and liquorice.
