The client who signs this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances take advantage of any right to remain in the premises.
After receipt of your reservation, we will send you a written confirmation by e-mail - or, in the absence of an e-mail address, by post - and invite you to pay a deposit of 30% within a maximum of two weeks (but more quickly if the reservation is made with less notice) in the case of more than one night reserved or a full night's stay in the case of a single night reserved. Once this deposit has been received, the reservation becomes binding. By paying the deposit, you confirm your full agreement with the terms and conditions specified below. Please note that without the payment of the deposit within the time limit, the reservation is not confirmed and that, consequently, we reserve the right to reclaim the rooms or the gîte.
Any modification is only possible with the agreement of "Le Puy du Maupas" and may lead to additional costs.
We inform you that in case of cancellation of the reservation before the beginning of the stay, an indemnity will be due, as a penalty clause by the client, fixed as follows
- if the cancellation is made more than 15 days before the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded in full;
- if the cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the date of arrival, the totality of the payment will be retained by "Le Puy du Maupas", except if we manage to re-let the room(s)/gîte.
In case of early departure during the stay: full payment of the booked service.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that no cancellation insurance is included in our rates. It is therefore strongly recommended that you take out such insurance.
If, before the beginning of the stay, the owner has to cancel the reservation, he must immediately inform his client by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. The client will then be immediately and fully reimbursed for the sums already paid. In addition, the client will receive compensation equal to the penalty that would have been incurred if the cancellation had been made by the client on that date.
The client must arrive on the day specified at the time of booking, at the earliest at 4pm (time of availability of the rooms and/or the gite and handing over of the keys) and at the latest at 7.30pm. The client must imperatively warn by telephone if, by force of circumstance, he/she is forced to arrive after this time slot (on 04 90 46 47 43). As far as possible, please do not arrive after 9pm.
The departure time for the rooms/guesthouse is set at 10.00 am at the latest.
The balance of the stay is to be paid the day before departure by the client.
Without the client being able to claim any compensation, the owner reserves the right to change the room initially booked by the client for a room with the same capacity (number of beds) or a higher capacity. In this case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.
Pets are not allowed.
In order to guarantee the tranquillity of the premises and the comfort of the guests of Le Puy du Maupas, respect for a certain "art of living" is required of all. In particular, guests are asked not to smoke inside the rooms and common areas. More generally, the client undertakes to respect the rules of good manners which will be indicated to him, those which are imposed on everyone when living in a community and the present general conditions of sale.
The guest undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to systematically declare - and to assume financially - any damage for which he/she would be responsible.
The attention of guests is drawn to the fact that minors on the property are under the sole and complete responsibility of their parents or persons having authority over them.
Le Puy du Maupas will not accept any responsibility for loss, theft and/or damage or injury to property and/or persons on the property, whatever the cause.
The present conditions of sale may be modified at any time and without prior notice. Acceptance and compliance with these conditions of sale are deemed to be acquired as soon as the deposit is paid.
The reservation of accommodation at PUY DU MAUPAS requires the client to communicate a certain amount of personal data concerning him.
This data, which is necessary for the processing of the reservation and for the management of the commercial relationship between EARL LE PUY DU MAUPAS and its clients, is secured, kept confidential and is not used for commercial purposes by third parties.
In accordance with the law n° 78-17 of 6 January 1978, relating to Data Processing, Files and Liberties, you have the right to access, rectify and delete any personal data concerning you and which is processed under the responsibility of EARL LE PUY DU MAUPAS.
