Wine tourism: an idyllic Provencal setting

Between vineyards and olive trees, in an idyllic setting typical of southern Provence, you will enjoy a refreshing breeze during the summer months, lulled by the song of the cicadas. On the wine route from Orange to Vaison la Romaine, in a region steeped in history, the Domaine Le Puy du Maupas, created in 1987 by the merger of two properties, is a reference in wine and tourism in Puyméras.

Le Puy du Maupas is located five kilometres from Vaison la Romaine, famous for its Roman remains and its Provençal market, and ten kilometres from Nyons, a town in the Drôme Provençale, known for its olives, its oil and its scourtin factory.

Winegrower's welcome: hospitality & savoir-vivre

For generations, our family has been part of the winegrowing tradition. Heirs to this tradition, we are now developing a triple activity: we develop some forty hectares, we produce the wines of the Domaine and we receive tourists in guest houses or in gîtes.

The respect of the culture and the grapes, vinified in our cellar with the greatest care, allows us to bottle wines of great quality, very appreciated by our guests.

Our love and knowledge of wine has led us, at the request of our guest-clients, to offer a tour of the barrel cellar once a week, followed by a tasting of our best vintages.

We welcome our guests, in rooms or in a gîte, with hospitality and modesty in our house, near our tasting cellar.

On site, you can relax and enjoy the unfenced garden and our swimming pool.

Nearby activities and heritage

Nearby, you can visit various sites: Dentelles de Montmirail, Toulourenc Valley, Gorges de la Nesque, Gorges de St May, Enclave des papes... Ideal for calm and relaxation, the estate provides direct or nearby access to many hiking trails. We have also developed cycling circuits linking the roads around the estate.
